eclipse

this is a play of shapes,
using ready-made ceramics from the bazaar again,
with a little addition of my own.
when the moon is between the earth and the sun,
it eclipses the much larger star.
I am trying to direct the viewers attention to the weird
and beautiful details of the chicken feeder
by adding another round shape,
and firing everything together.
the parts have been joined by the melting glaze
and are now inseparable,
like planets and stars connected by cosmic forces
